Look like a magazine, book like an app
Sable, our design for an Altrincham colour studio, sets its name across the whole screen with the stylist framed in an arch in front of it. Then just one line ("Lived-in colour. Cuts that grow out well."), a Book online button and "4.9, 312 reviews" right underneath it. In a real build the button opens Fresha, Phorest, Timely or whatever you already use.

Prices, big and clear
Four numbers: cut £48, balayage £145, colour £85, bridal £220. Showing "from" prices removes the biggest reason people do not book, and cuts the "how much is..." messages.
Barbers: same rules, louder
Bolder colours, same structure: book up front, walk-in times, prices, reviews and photos of real cuts.

Questions people ask us
What booking system should a salon website use?
Whichever one you already run the salon on. Fresha, Phorest, Timely, Booksy and Treatwell all offer booking buttons or widgets that we can add to your site.
Should a salon put prices on its website?
Yes, at least as from-prices. It reduces no-shows from price surprises, cuts down on enquiries, and helps the right clients book.
