Restaurants, cafes and bars

Restaurant and cafe websites that fill tables

One job: get a hungry person from Google to a booked table in under a minute. Restaurant, cafe, bar and takeaway websites, for a fixed fee that suits an independent.

Most people decide where to eat on their phone, often while standing on the street. They want three things fast: what is on the menu, when you are open, and how to book. If they have to pinch and zoom a PDF or hunt for a phone number, they go to the place next door.

We build restaurant websites around that moment. Above is Hearth & Hollow, one of our designs: the room, the name and a booking button, and nothing in the way.

What every restaurant website we build includes

  • A menu Google can read. Text, not a PDF, with dietary tags (V, VE, GF) and prices. Google, Apple Maps and AI assistants can all quote it, and it loads instantly on a phone.
  • Booking in one tap. We connect the system you already use, whether that is OpenTable, ResDiary, SevenRooms, Resy, Tock or a simple enquiry form, and put the button where thumbs expect it.
  • Allergen information presented clearly and kept easy to update, so staff are not answering the same question on the phone all night.
  • Opening hours, address and map that match your Google Business Profile exactly, which helps you appear in "restaurants near me" searches.
  • Private dining and events pages with an enquiry form, because a single party booking can pay for the website.
  • Gift cards, takeaway and delivery links to your existing Deliveroo, Uber Eats or Just Eat pages, or your own ordering system.
  • Restaurant schema markup, the behind-the-scenes code that tells search engines your cuisine, price range, hours and menu.
  • Fast pages on every phone, with photos compressed properly, so the site still loads on patchy city-centre 4G.

Cafes, bakeries, bars and takeaways too

The same thinking works for a coffee shop that wants pre-orders, a bakery that takes cake orders, a bar that runs events, or a takeaway that wants to stop paying 30% commission on every order. We will tell you honestly which features will earn their keep for your place, and which are just nice to have.

What does a restaurant website cost?

Every project is a fixed fee agreed before we start. A 1 to 3 page site with your menu, hours, map and booking button is our Spark (£250 to £1,000), usually live in about two weeks. A multi-page site with private dining, events and online ordering is a Spotlight (£2,500+). See all prices. For a broader view of what websites cost in the UK, see our 2026 website cost guide.

Built to be found, built to sell

  • Found on Google. Fast pages, the right words in the right places, local business markup and Search Console set up from day one.
  • Recommended by AI. Clear, structured answers that ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity can read and suggest.
  • Turns visitors into customers. One clear next step on every page: book, buy, call or enquire.

How it works

  1. A free 15-minute call. You tell us about the business and what the website needs to do. No jargon and no pitch.
  2. A fixed-fee quote. Usually within one working day, in writing, with what is included and a realistic timeline. The price you see is the price you pay.
  3. Design, then build. You see the design before we build it, with feedback built in at each stage, so there is no big nervous reveal at the end.
  4. Launch and hand-over. We connect your domain, set up Google Search Console and your Google Business Profile link, and show you how to make everyday edits yourself.
  5. Optional care. If you would rather not think about hosting, backups and updates, our care plans start from £59 a month, rolling, cancel any time.

Questions people ask us

Can you put our menu online so it is easy to change?

Yes. Your menu is built as real text you can edit yourself, or we can update it for you as part of a care plan. No more uploading a new PDF every time the specials change.

Do you work with our booking system?

Almost certainly. We regularly link or embed OpenTable, ResDiary, SevenRooms, Resy, Tock and Google reservations. If you do not have one yet, we will suggest the simplest option for your size.

Will it help us show up on Google Maps?

Your website and your Google Business Profile work together. We make sure your name, address, phone and hours match exactly, add restaurant schema, and link the two, which are the on-site signals that support local rankings.

Can we take orders or deposits online?

Yes. We can connect commission-free ordering or deposit-taking through tools like Square or Stripe, or simply link to your delivery partners.

Do you only work with Manchester restaurants?

We are based in Greater Manchester and love meeting people in person, but we build for restaurants anywhere in the UK and beyond. Everything works perfectly well over video calls.
